  1. I have a HP laserjet 6P/6MP printer. It utilizes the IEEE 1284- B and IEEE 1284-C. Will this cable work on this unit
    • Yes, this adapter uses the Centronics (B) connection. (If you need centronics C you might want the SW-2104 or the combo set)

  2. Last week I bought the combo package to go from my laptop ( USB only ) to my HP R80 All in one printer. I can't figure out how to get the USB2PAR driver installed.
    • Unfortunately the USB to Parallel adapter does not work with all-in-one printers. We have a few options for your laptop, but it is generally more expensive than buying a new printer that will work through USB. If you are interested in the options you can contact technical support.

  3. I am looking for a USB to Parallel cable that is at least 9 feet long. I see that you have on that is 5 feet long - do you have a longer one?
    • We do not have longer ones, but you can easily extend the distance to a USB to Parallel cable with a USB passive extension cable. These are relatively inexpensive cables that will allow you to go up to a total distance of 16-feet without any type of signal loss or degradation.

  5. I have an epson stylus color 800 which uses a parallel cable which has 36 copper? connectors 18 on each side which almost meet at the middle of a blue plastic piece in the middle. the blue plastic thing has NO holes, only the overlapping almost touchin
    • Yes, that is the Centronics (B) connection. It works similarly to a tongue-and-groove connector, rather than the common pin and holes. The SW-1302 should work well for you
