    • By default this will install to the next 8 available com port numbers. Windows can assign up to 256 Comm ports. You can change the port assignment, if necessary, from the Device manager.

  • Is this product compatible with Linux Operating Systems? Also, does this device need to be powered externally (if so, what is the minimum voltage/current requirement) ?
    • Unfortunately we do not offer Linux support for this product, but it uses a popular chip set so you may be able to find drivers. It comes with a compatible power adapter with the correct voltage for external power.
