  • Has your answer to Number 3 changed as DisplayLink now lists this adapter as compatible with their new Mac beta driver?
    • This USB SVGA adapter does not use the DisplayLink chipset - we do not currently have a Mac driver available for this adapter. We do have a USB to VGA with DisplayLink and USB to DVI Adapters by DisplayLink that include DVI to VGA converters.

  • i have an old desktop without a monitor and a new laptop. would i be able to hook them together and use my laptop as the monitor for the desktop?
    • No. What you would need to do is either buy a vga video capture card for your laptop or you would need to temporarily borrow a monitor and set up your desktop to allow your laptop to remote desktop in over the network. Our product will not help you.
