  • I am trying to confirm that your TV Tuner/Video Capture/FM Radio PCMCIA Card is compatible with my laptop. Lifebook N3400 Notebook(Fujutsu) I am looking for a wifi option and have been shopping for TV with USB input port, on the assumption that your card SW-4329 or similar card to laptop can function sireless without cable connection. Do you have such a card that uses the multi-video input cable?
    • I'm afraid that all of our tuner cards would require you to connect to your cable to get your regular programming. But we might have a few options. Our SW-8743 will run an application on your computer and can send the video via WiFi to your TV, manitining HD resolutions. If you are only interested in standard definition you could use a standard wireless PC to TV or you could connect a wireless AV extender like the SW-7613 to a cable box, then send the signal wirelessly to the TV.

  • I have 4 color CCTV cameras with PAL outputs that feed to a video switcher with single output. I wish to use my laptop so I can capture the PAL input. Will this card allow use of the PAL video input with other video capture applications on my laptop? Thank you Pat
    • Yes, this card can read either PAL SECAM or NTSC signals.

  • I have an Alienware notebook with a S-video plug that requires a mini-PCI TV tuner that is optional and now no longer available. I am trying to record VHS to my hard disc. Will your card do the job?
    • Yes, this should let you capture your VHS tapes to your notebook hard drive.
