Pros: Uses a standard USB-serial chipset/driver, so compatibility should be good. Very convenient to be able to drive RS-422 with USB bus power instead of requiring an extra power supply.

Cons: The device isn't labeled (other than a serial number) so it's hard to tell which model it is, and there are several models that look the same.

Other Comments: You need to open the enclosure to set jumpers for termination and RS-422/RS-485 options.
