  • I'm planning on using this to connect a spare mouse and keyboard to my PS3 and I was wondering if I would have to buy 2 of these or will I be able to connect both devices at the same time? Oh and also if this would be compatible with the PS3 system.
    • The adapter will support both a mouse and keyboard simultaneously, however we unfortunately do not have driver support for the Playstation 3.

  • I would like to use this with a USB KVM switch. I assume I would need some sort of a usb to usb adapter?
    • That should work well to allow you to connect a PS/2 mouse or keyboard to a USB KVM switch. We have used a similar scenario here in the office.

  • I would like to use this to adapt a KVM switch to a server. The KVM has PS2 cables from the switch to the servers. The server only has USB connections. Will the adapter work with this configuration?
    • Yes it should. This converter has a chip in it, meaning it is not a passive converter, and is therefore much more compatible than standard passive converters.

  • The (round end / one green, one purple) cables on my keyboard and mouse will not reach the back of the computer - unless I put the computer on top of the desk. I have a multi-port USB device. Will this product plug into the USB device and allow me to use my mouse and keyboard? Thank you....
    • Yes, this should work perfectly for you.
