Pros: Worked great!

Cons: Some documentation might be nice, although anyone buying this should be able to figure out how to set it up!

Pros: This item does exactly what it's supposed to do. My laptop crashed and I wanted to backup the data from the two internal hard drives before sending it off to the factory. This multi-function cable was just the answer! Pros: Comes with a couple of different ways to connect to your internal hard drive and an external power supply which I needed. They shipped my item the same day I paid for it and even though I chose standard ground shipping, I received the package in 3 business days. Faster shipping options are available.

Cons: About the only con I can think of has already been identified by another reviewer (the instruction manual). True, the print is tiny, but what was really missing was instructions for the novice (like me) for connecting my internal drive to their cable. When I first removed my internal hard drive (first time I had ever done that by the way), I thought they gave me the wrong connector because the pins wouldn't match up with the pins on my hard drive. After going to the HP Pavillion website and finding the maintenance manual, I discovered that I needed to gently pull off the pin adaptor that HP places on their SATA drives to fit in the laptop. Once I did this, I could easily see which cable choice to use and the connection was easy, peasy. If this information was in the instruction manual, it would alleviate a lot of concern for the "newbie" that they've screwed up or ordered the wrong item.

Other Comments: Overall, I'm extremely pleased with my first purchase from Sewell. If I have another cable problem, I will most definitely come to their website first! Thank you!

Pros: Works fine as an internal USB IDE HD in my setup. Comes with AC power adaptor for use with an external HD if wanted. Haven't tried that but no reason it won't work fine.

Cons:

Other Comments: Their USB and SATA/IDE/SATA adaptors are good quality stuff and Sewell is great to work with.

Pros: Easy to use, and came with everything you would need for any type of connection, from DVD and to Hard drives.

Cons: The cable could be a bit longer.

Other Comments: Worked great for my need of accessing a laptop hard drive for forensic purposes. It was quick to use and didn't require any additional software, or complicated attachments.

Pros: Very good product. Works as designed. Installation was intuitive. Easy to use.

Cons: Poor written support material. Obviously written by a non-english speaker. Good thing the support material was not really needed to use the product.
