Pressure Stranding
The 200sv cable series incorporates the latest technology to give you the highest quality signals from end to end. Typical cables are made by stranding multiple copper wires to make a single wire. This process can leave air pockets in the wire leaving it open to oxidation and less effective transmission. Tara Labs pressure strands their wires to remove the air pockets to allow for longer life and better transmission. The copper used is compressed tighter to stream the signal without slowing it down with air pockets.
Dual Shielding
The copper in the 200sv series is anti-corrosion coated to protect from oxidation. This will allow the cable to last longer and to provide the best signal for the lifetime of the cable. The cable is also has Mylar backed foil to protect from electromagnetic interference. Mylar is another word for Teflon which is used as an insulator. SVPE
