The RCA X3000 is an amazing device that can record (via analog or digital) any bit of media playing on any device and plays it back with perfect clarity (up to the standards of the original media). Media can be recorded through an analog 1/8-inch audio/video line-in jack (RCA cable adapters included), or through a USB port. Media can be played using the line-out jack, on the built-in 3.6-inch screen, or digitally using USB.
The RCA X3000 includes a 20 gigabyte hard drive which will store 10,000 photos, 300 hours of music, or 80 hours of pre-recorded TV shows, movies, etc., with amazing high definition clarity.
Handles Most Formats
This single device can handle MPEG-1,2,4, DivX, WMV-9, and other video that is DRM protected subscription based content. MP3, WMA, WMA DRM, WAV, Audible, Janus formats are handled without any problems, even subscription based audio content. It will play back any image in the JPG, Bitmap, TIF, GIF, or PNG format.
Record From Any Consumer Audio/Video Source
Using the audio/video-in or USB port you can capture video from any source and the device will automatically encode the media to MPEG-4 for you to store and play on any other device or on your own device. It can also do sound recordings and encode in real time to MP3 with the analog or USB inputs.

This unit also comes with an IR Blaster cable that allows the RCA X3000 to control your VCR, cable box, or satellite receiver for timer recordings. The unit also has an SD slot so you can expand the storage or interface with other devices.
