Will this work with an ATI all in wonder x 800 xl video card? Will this feed a Sony fd trinitron XBR wega kv-36xbr400 (it has component inputs)? I am curious on the need for dip switch settings as i see on the http://pinouts.ru website that all of the analog component outputs are integrated into a dvi connector. Should this not be a straight through wiring without the need for dip switches? thx jd

The dip switches on the unit offer constraints as to the resolutions supported, and the aspect ratio of the TV. It uses an ATI chip and does some (limited) active conversion. We do not have any compatibility information on your particular card model, I would recommend contacting the card manufactuer to see if it supports Sync-on-green video signals.
