Hi, what kind of protocol is it working on? I'm using a Linux PDA (Nokia N800) and want to output the video.

This device simply takes a VGA input and gives you a composite video for your TV. The N800 appears to not have any video out options. Without a VGA out port, you would not be able to use this to connect your PDA to your TV.
