Customer Question

I currently connect my laptop to my TV via an S-video cable. The picture is ok but smaller fonts are hard to read. Will the SW-4279 provide a better (higher definition) picture when connected to the TV's component video inputs?

Since this still only supports the standard definition resolution, the clarity will still be comparable. There will be an improvement in color depth and you might notice a slight improvement in clarity but overall they will be similar. If you are using a standard definition TV, that is about the best quality available. If you have an HDTV however, you would notice a significan improvement from an HDTV converter like the SW-4280 or a direct VGA cable connection.
