I am about to buy this TV card. But first I would like to now what is the maximun resolution it supports, because I have a 21.6" Wide Screen LCD Monitor and a resolution of 1680 x 1050. I think I have a good TV signal, because in my TV most the channels are quite clear. My question is IF I put this TV card into full screes, How would it look like? Thanks for your answer.

This tuner only supports standard definition TV signals. These signals run at a 640x480 resolution. This is the resolution of a standard television. So when stretching that image to a 1680x1050 display it may appear grainy because you are running a much higher resolution than the incoming signal. Because of the high resolution display of the monitor it actually makes imperfections in the signal stand out and become more visable because the pictures is more clear. If you want higher resolution channels you would need to use a high definition tuner and a high definition source.View More Questions
