I have a Sony plasma TV model # KE42TS2U. Can you tell me if this TV has an HDTV compatible monitor and if your set-top box is what I need to obtain the best picture from an over-the-air antenna?

That TV's max resolution is 1024x1024, which is a very odd resolution. It does not have enough horizontal pixels to support 720P HD, but it should be able to support 480P, and digital signals from ATSC will come in clearer than the NTSC over-the-air signals. Our device is compatible with your TV, but you will not recieve HD.
