Is there any performance differences in regards to refresh rate and ghosting when using the DVI switch compared to connecting the monitors directly to a video card. One of the connected computers will be used for high end gaming software. Thanks

There should not be any noticable loss in signal quality or response time. Once the KVM is switched to a specific computer it should perform comparably to when it is connected locally.
