  • Will this work with my new MS 4000 USB keyboard into my PS2 KVM?
    • This particular device isn't compatible with all Keyboards and Mice; while it may work with the MS 4000, we have not done extensive testing with this particular hardware combination.

  • I have a gateway usb wireless mouse and keyboard but am i just currently using the mouse. Will this work with my wireless mouse?
    • This adapter often will not work with wireless mouse/keyboard combos (even if you are only using the mouse) The USB reciever can show up to the computer as a hub or multi-function device. These are passive adapters that can only support simple Mouse/keyboard functions. If you do not have USB ports on your computer, you can add USB ports. Or if you need additional USB ports you can choose from our selection of USB hubs.

  • what's inside this device ? (I have the green one) is it active or passive ? if it's active would it need any driver or whatever?
    • It is passive. These only work if your keyboard/mouse was designed to use one of these units.

  • what can you use on a usb for the play station 2?
    • We apologize for the confusion. This is not designed for the Sony Playstation 2. PS/2 is also the designation for a mini din 6 pin connector used for mouse and keyboard ports on computers.

  • I have a huge problem. I have a wirless keyboard/mouse combo that goes to USB, and I have a KVM that is PS2 for the keyboard and mouse. I need a female USB to both keyboard and mouse (all in one cable) to two PS2 male one for keyboard, and one for mouse. I am pretty sure that I have seen such an adapter, but I'm having a hard time. Please help.
    • Unfortunately we don't have an adapter that will do that... While this adapter will work with some KVMs for a single mouse or keyboard, however it will not work for a combo set. We do have the opposeite... USB male to two PS/2 female, but not what you need. I'm afraid you will probably need to get a PS/2 mouse and keyboard, or a KVM with USB support.
