  • I have a 720p flatscreen TV that I would like to connect to my laptop via the VGA connection to watch movies from Netflix. Will this adapter work well, or do I need to go to the VGA to HDMI adapter that you offer for a clearer picture?
    • This will work for you, in fact that is a popular application for this, however the quality will not be great, (I'd say it is about the same as a VHS tape). Many flatscreen TVs have VGA ports on them, if yours does, you will just need a simple VGA cable. If your TV doesn't have VGA but does have HDMI, the VGA to HDMI will give you a much better signal, although it is more expensive, you can decide if you want the quality for the additonal cost. Also note that the VGA to HDMI is the only solution that includes audio. With the PC to TV or the VGA cable you will need an additoinal 1/8" to RCA cable

  • I am wanting to use this for karaoke. Can you run 2 different tv/monitors from this device at the same time? (one using the s-video and one using the rca) Please respond asap...I need it now. Can I also use it to connect with rca to a rf modulator to be able to use coax cable to tv.
    • Yes, both of the s-video and composite ports are active at the same time so you could run 2 TVs on it. That signal can be run through an RF modulator to enable you to connect it to a coax connection on the TV.

  • What about sound?
    • To get sound to your computer when using a PC to TV converter like this, you would simply run an audio cable directly from your computer to your TV. You would just want to use a 3.5mm to dual RCA audio cable.
