This 20 foot Midi cable has a 13-pin connection type and also comes in 30 ft. It is designed to be used with midi guitars, pickup systems, modeling processors, and other 13-pin Midi studio and live applications. The cable is double-shielded for full shield coverage so signals have no noise artifacts, regardless of length. It has excellent data transmission with out errors, as well.

MIDI (musical instrument digital interface) is commonly used in electronic musical instruments and show devices like a keytar or synthesizer. If you have already used a MIDI instrument, you are probably aware that the MIDI cable doesn't actually transmit any audio. They are made to allow you to program what ever sound you choose. Real time digital information is transferred that includes type, intensity, and technical cues that represent musical notes which are interpreted by a computer or other digital MIDI interface.
