Run your Ethernet lines longer with this converter. This allows you to turn your typical 1000Base-TX Ethernet line into 1000Base-SX fiber optical line to run longer distances. This converter ensures that you keep your signals clear over long distances. Beacause this is 1000Base-SX, you can rest assured that you will not receive any electromagnetic interference at all. The fiber optic cable provides a smooth and efficient flow throughout the network.

If you use half-duplex fiber cable you can run a max of 300 meters. This is a great advantage over 1000Base-T if you would like to run your network over long distances. 1000Base-SX is the lower cost alternative to 1000Base-FX because of the shot wavelength technology it encorporates. 1000Base-FX uses long wavelength optics which can be more costly for relatively the same distance.

This converter features status LEDs to show you when data is transferred. These converters can be used stand-alone or in any Intellinet Network converter Chassis.
