The eXplorist XL is the ultimate in handheld GPS modules featuring a 3.5-color display, the largest of any rugged GPS. It also features optional downloadable maps of different types (fishing, hiking, driving) and one-button navigation with an easy-to-use joystick.

Incredible Geographic Features
TrueFix Technology can reliably perform accurately to within three meters. It draws on a vast array of resources including 14 parallel channels and two dedicated WAAS and EGNOS Satellite-Based Augmentation Systems channels. These resources also allow for faster signal acquisition and minimal signal loss.
Rugged
The eXplorist XL GPS unit is encased in rubber armored, impact resistant plastic. The armor is water resistant, so don't worry about getting water on it. It is powered for 19 hours of use with four AA batteries. An auto-off function saves power.
The eXplorist GPS unit also comes standard with 30 MB disk space and an SD slot to upgrade storage.
