Hours
Monday through Friday, 20 - 25 hrs/wk.
Length of Employment
The candidate must be available for part-time work for at least a year.
Pay
Starting pay is $10.00 to $12.00 per hour, depending on experience, with raises based on performance and company profitability.

Duties and responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Help customers find products/solutions
- Respond to technical support emails
- Test and process product returns
- Assist customers via live chat
- Write informal articles, instructions, How-to guides etc.
- Other tasks as assigned by the tech support manager
Basic skills
- Organized and efficient.
- Be able to work under pressure and with deadlines.
- English language proficiency. Need to be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing, using good grammar and correct spelling.
- People skills. Need to get along well with people, meet new people easily, and be warm and professional when dealing with customers or other employees.
- Basic knowledge of MS office software.
Technical skills
- Knowledge of computer hardware installation and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of computer connectivity including USB, FireWire, VGA, DVI, networking etc.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Macintosh operating systems, including hardware systems, driver installation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with home theater connectivity—Composite, S-Video, HDMI, Toslink etc.
