    • You will be able to use up to a 2GB SD card or USB drive. It does not support SD-HC (SD high capacity) cards.

    • It should work with any USB flash drive, but it does have a 2GB limit on the SD cards.

  • Can I use my windows smartphone to play audio, and transmit from my phone's USB to the USB port of this device, and control playback options from my smartphone? In other words, does this device play audio signal input fed to its USB port?
    • Unfortunately that will not work with the USB ports. The USB port on the SW-8302 is designed to read MP3 from a flash drive and input them. However if your phone has a headphone output you can connect that to the line in, and controll the playback from your smartphone.

  • Can I leave this plugged into my lighter all the time or will it drain my battery if I forgot to remove it?
    • Most vehicles disable power when the vehicle is turned off. If power is still supplied while the ignition is off, then this will draw power. While it would probably take a long time to drain a car battery, as long as the iQfm is on, it will be broadcasting, (it does not have a standby or powersave mode)

  • How does the unit connect to an iPod? Will it charge the iPod?
    • This unit will connect to any audio source that uses a 3.5mm mini stereo connection (including the iPod and other mp3 players). It does not supply power to an iPod or any other mp3 device. You'll need a seaparate car adapter like this Apple iPod Car Charger to charge your iPod.
