Every once in a while, a product or device is made that gives us goosebumps. Either because it is innovative and market changing or it just makes us feel like a kid with our favorite toy. The i.Tech Mobile DVR is one of those such products that makes us get those goosebumps.
The i.Tech Mobile SD DVR converts your videos so they can be played on your cell phone by storing the video on an SD memory card. The mDVR connects to your composite video source (DVD player, VHS, etc.) using the provided RCA (red, white, and yellow) cables to the mDVR video in. Using the second set of composite video cables, connect the video out to your TV. After inserting your SD card, you can use the user friendly menu displayed on your TV to navigate and record the videos of your choice to your SD memory card. Next, it is as simple as inserting your SD card into your Treo or other cell phone handset that has an SD card slot.
On a CIF 352 x 288 resolution screen with a 30 frame rate, you can store up to 72 minutes of video on a 512MB SD card and up to 280 minutes of video on a QCIF 176 x 144 screen. Video encoded to 3GP and H.263 for QCIF, CIF, and QVGA resolutions.
