HDMI
High-Definition Multimedia Interface is quickly becoming the preferred vessel of high definition signals because it also sends the audio signal through a comparatively tiny interface. This splitter is also compatible with HDCP displays (high bandwidth digital content protection). HDCP is a standard "key" encoded into the HDMI signal to prevent video data from being pirated and is strongly endorsed by the entertainment industry.
How it works
This switch delivers both video and audio signals through each interface. Simply connect your HDMI source (any HDMI source such as a set top box, satellite receiver, DVD player will work) to the splitter with a supplied cable. You will then be able to connect up to eight different HDMI (or DVI displays with an adapter) displays to the splitter. The video image will simply be mirrored on all eight displays.
