  • I have a Pioneer VSX-91TXH HDMI receiver connected to a Sony KF-60WE610 HD television w/ DVI input. I want to connect a LG 22LC2D television in the kitchen to the reciever. The LG 22LC2D has a HDMI input. A local stereo shop sold me a splitter but it would not work when both TV's were connected. Both TV's support HDCP and they work fine when connected to the receiver one at a time. Will your SW-4022 unit work in this application?
    • This active splitter should allow you to view the same image on both of your screens simultaneously. It will actively repeat and boost the signal to both monitors. Since both of your displays support HDCP you should not run into any problems with this splitter.

  • I need to split the Hdmi 1080p/uncompressed dolby digital audio from my play station Blu-ray to my 7.1 receiver and plasma tv at the same time. My receiver's hdmi has a 1080i switch is not 1080p capable. The last splitter I bought did not transmit the audio only the video signal. Can this unit meet my needs.
    • Yes, this should send the full signal to both your TV and your reciever.

  • Can the length of the hdmi cable to the 2 TVs be 15 meters or less so that the 1080p works?
    • According the the HDMI specifications, when HDMI is being run without boosters it cannot be run further than 15 feet without signal loss. to run it 15 meters (about 45 feet) you would need a cable and a booster. You could use the Accell UltraRun HDMI Extension cable, 15m.
