The Ex-Tend-It mini DVI switcher provides a simple and easy to use solution to switch between 2 DVI sources that are using the same DVI display. Connect 2 computer to the same LCD screen, or use your laptop on the same HDTV you watch your cable/satellite on. All video resolutions are maintained up to 1080P, and computer resolutions up to 1920 x 1200.

Utilizing the 2 x 1 module, the Gefen Mini DVI Switcher also comes with an IR remote to control the Mini DVI Switcher from where you sit. Selecting which source you want on the display is easily achieved. After all three devices are plugged together ( 2 DVI sources, 1 display ) you can manually choose on the switcher, use the included remote, or your home universal remote programmed to use the Gefen Mini DVI switcher. Two 6-foot DVI-D cables are also included in the package.

Using the Gefen Mini-DVI switcher will save time and money on purchasing multiple displays for each DVI source. Time is also saved because there is no need to manually switch cables any more. It is compatible with all DVI equipped devices, including Apple's flat panel displays.

DVI stands for Digital Visual Interface. DVI is designed for high quality digital display like LCD's and projectors. The most common use of this is computer display LCD's. The digital video it carries is uncompressed so it remains at the original resolutions and quality.

Video and audio sources that are incorporating DVI include DVD players, TV's (which includes high definition sets), video projectors, and many computers desktops and laptops. Computers that have incorporated DVI include both PC and MAC based desktops and laptops.
