The Gefen
HDMI 1000HD Extender is a very easy and efficient way to extend your HDMI signal up to 1640 feet, or 330 feet for HDCP. This Gefen extender preserves the HDMI signal quality as it passes the normal HDMI limit of 15 feet, and it is also housed in a metal box for better RF shielding.
Installation is easy and takes just minutes. The Gefen HDMI-1000HDS sender unit sits near your HDMI output source. A supplied cable attaches your HDMI source to the sender, which sends the HDMI signal up to 1,640 feet to the receiver over multimode fiber optic cable and Cat5 cable. The receiver unit sits near and feeds the signal to your HD display. You are now ready to display video quality in the supported 480P, 720P, 1080I, 1080P and 1920 x 1200 resolutions.
