1080p
1080p is the latest in high definition performance. The 1080 stands for 1080 lines of vertical resolution and the letter p stands for progressive scan. It is considered by enthusiasts as the only true HDTV. This matrix is 1080p compatible with the 1080i standard and maintains 480p and 720p resolutions.
How This Works
Simply connect your sources to the four matrix inputs using the four included 6 foot HDMI cables (or your own). Link up to four HDMI displays to your matrix. You are now instantly ready to switch between any comination of four sources on any of your four displays with the inlcuded RMT-161R Remote Control.
Fully HDCP Compliant
HDCP is a standard encoded into the video signal to prevent it from being pirated. If any device that does not support HDCP is connected to a video source encoded with HDCP, the picture will only support 480p resolution or simply be relegated to "snow". The matrix supports HDCP, thus allowing for full 1080p resolution.
