Dual Link Resolutions
The Gefen 4x1 Dual Link DVI Switch uses all 24 pins in the DVI interface to achieve amazingly high resolutions (3840x2400), giving you the performance worthy of any DVI display in consumer and professional markets, like the Apple 30 inch Cinema Display.
USB 2.0
The Gefen 4x1 Dual Link DVI Switch also offers USB 2.0 KVM switching, allowing you to switch between 4 USB 2.0 devices simultaneously with each of the 4 video sources. You can either use this feature for KVM switching (keyboard, video, mouse) allowing you to control 4 DVI/USB computers with one display, keyboard, and mouse, or use the USB 2.0 ports to transfer data at 480 mbps.
How This Works
Using the four 6 ft. dual link DVI cables that are included in the package, simply connect your four video sources to the switch. If any of these sources happen to be computers, you have the option of connecting them to the USB 2.0 ports as well with the included USB A-B cables. You can use your imagination and attach other USB devices to the switch and use the switch as a USB 2.0 switch as well.
Once your sources are all connected, plug your DVI display into the output, along with whatever you want to plug into the two USB ports. Switch using the included IR remote.
