Easy to Use
Setting up and using the GPS for the first time is convenient and easy. The touchscreen allows you to type in street addresses and points of interest quickly and efficiently. The built-in maps are ready to go, right out of the box.
Text-to-Speech
In order to make it easier to drive while trying to follow directions from the GPS, true text-to-speech technology sets the StreetPilot 2720 apart from the others. It will give names of upcoming streets, intersections, and points of interest, so you don't have to continually watch the screen and can focus on driving the vehicle.
Points of Interest
Another incredibly useful feature of this GPS device is its ability to accept fully customized points of interest. You can add anything from grocery stores, businesses, homes, or your own special locations. These can be added to your local maps making this a fully customizable GPS device. They can be added using the included POI Loader software with your desktop or notebook computer.
Traffic Reports
A GPS can become crippled if it sends you right in the middle of a traffic mess. With a monthly subscription and traffic receiver, you can get instant information to help you avoid those traffic areas.
