Easy Operation
The 398C allows you to view both 2D and 3D maps along with sounder information simultaneously. Charting your route has never been easier with BlueChart g2 technology. The detailed information gives you a better understanding of your surroundings whether on land or sea.
Display
The 4:3 5-inch display looks beautiful in both bright and dark conditions, even in direct sunlight. Each map is rich and alive with 256 colors of animation in a compact and portable form factor.
Sounder
The built-in 500 Watt sounder allows the GPS to display high speed screen updates and has the ability to communicate with another chartplotter for wider coverage. Along with the sounder, this GPS features Ultrascroll technology. This allows you to quickly scroll through maps without the wait. The fast processor can allow you to see in both 2D and 3D views which provides an overview that many other GPS devices don't offer.
