Other Comments: If your Mac has an old VGA port and you're hoping that this little guy will allow you to use a DVI monitor, forget it, I don't know WHY it doesn't work, but it doesn't. Even with the external power supply for the DVI monitor, no luck. Even using a powered DVI-to-ADC powered adapter, no luck. Maybe it'd work on a PC—I wouldn't know. Waste of $15 for me. Sewell Note: VGA is an analog signal. DVI monitors are typically digital only. (Although DVI cables have the option to carry both digital and analog) Without an analog to digital converter a simple adapter like this will not let your analog computer drive a digital display. However if it will not work for you you can return the adapter for a refund.

Other Comments: EERRRrrrrrrr!! Sewell note: Are you sure you are using this with an analog device? The adapter is DVI-A, which means that it will only work with analog devices. In order to convert a digital DVI signal to VGA (which is analog) you need an active converter, which is quite a bit more expensive. This has been the only technical problem we have seen with this adapter.
