The perfect home solution when you have multiple digital audio sources and want to connect them to an Audio/Video system with limited inputs.
The Audio Authority 1177 takes 4 separate digital audio sources and allows you to connect them to a single input of a home theater receiver and/or TV and then select between the sources on the 1177. Both optical (Toslink) and coax (RCA jack) signals are accepted. Both signals are automatically converted to provide both types of outputs to your sound system which can eliminate any compatibility problems with systems that have different digital connections.
Proprietary circuitry monitors the 4 sources that can be connected to the Digital Audio AutoSelector and will search for the presence of a digital signal and auto select the active one. There is even another great feature: The user can set a priority selection to each of those signals so when 2 items are on like a satellite input and DVD it will auto-select which ever you have set priority and send that signal to your TV. There are also manual selects to manually choose which source to override and display.
