Description

This card provides two independent RS-422 or RS-485 ports from your PCI Express (PCIe) slot and offers isolation and surge protection for your expensive hardware.

The 8439SI works on the one-lane 2.5 Gbps PCIe protocol. Each of the two ports can handle up to 921.6 kbps of data transfer. ARSC technology (aka auto RTS signal control) has initiated a new standard in industrial data transfer by allowing for ultra-accurate timing when switching the transmitter on and off for maximum effeciency and precision.
