Ziova's latest High Definition Network Media player, the ClearStream CS615, gives users a way to play their media through ethernet, an optional internal hard drive, an external drive or flash drive (via
USB 2.0). To use the internal drive option, you must provide your own IDE hard drive.
Along with these various ways to send video to the unit, there are also a wide variety of ways to interface the unit with your TV. It features an HDMI out, composite out (both RCA and S-Video), component out (RCA), 5.1 surround sound (RCA), and digital optical audio (Toslink).
The ClearStream CS615 not only supports high definition video, but it even upscales standard definition for you if you are using an HDTV. So if your video file is in 480p format, you can enjoy 1080p through this player. 1080p resolutions are only available through the available HDMI out port on the unit.
Ziova's media player will support a shockingly wide array of audio and video codecs, including the high definition FLAC which is lossless and compressed, OGG, AAC, MP3, MPEG-4, MPEG-2, MPEG-1, and more. See specifications tab for all formats.
