Dual Band Means both Cell and PCS Compatibility, including 3GDifferent cell phone carriers use 2 main frequencies: 800 mhz (Cell) and 1900 mhz (PCS). Since this amplifier is Dual Band, it works with both, meaning you can use this amplifier virtually regardless of who the carrier is. Major compatible cell phone carriers include Verizon, US Cellular, Cellular One, Alltel, Bell Canada, Telus, Cingular, Sprint, T-Mobile and all other Cellular and PCS carriers. This booster will also increase coverage for data signals as well (EVDO, HSPA, EDGE, aka 3G).
