Wii to HDMI Converter with 1080p Scaling Reviews - SW-29755

Pros: Exxcellent product. Works great and installs easily to the Wii. These are hard to find right now, but imagine will be needed by many in the future since a lot of Wii units are older, before HDTVs. If you want to connect to the internet and have a HDTV but an older Wii you will need one of these converters. Fast shipping.

Cons: Maybe the prices will come down a bit in the future, but I did not want to wait to get Netflix.

Pros: Great device!!! It does work, the fuzzyness is no longer there, its a much clearer, sharper image now. Definatly better then the basic video cables you get with the Wii.

Other Comments: Hole on side near Wii connector contains button to switch from 720p to 1080p. Use paper clip to access.

Pros: Easy Set up. 1080p and 720p Output. Improves Signal Loss. Company shipping unit fast and accurately.

Cons: Does Not work with the recommended 4080i setting as stated. Headphone/Audio output is too close to HDMI input causing only certain adapters to fit without completely being up against the HDMI cord possibly making the HDMI connection loose or warped.

Other Comments: Much of what I expected going in is what I got. 1080p output and Audio through HDMI. Took about 2 hrs to get a setting I'm in love with. I use a 1080p Panny Plasma and with the Wii being set to 480p. Hours of finagling later and games look about 25% better than with the component cables. And that is comparing the adapter to an already tweaked component layout i had previous, so this is definitely a good buy. I did a TON of research before I even decided on WHICH cable to get. Glad I got the Sewell brand.
