This cable doesn't pass audio. You'll also need a 3.5mm (mini stereo) to dual RCA audio cable in addition to running this video cable from your computer to your TV.

Connecting an HDMI device to a DVI device is easy with this simple 6-foot HDMI to DVI cable from Vantora.

Since DVI doesn't use an audio signal, this cable isn't wired to pass an HDMI audio signal. It will pass the beautiful high definition digital DVI signal that HDMI uses.
