  • I have a 30ft tow behind camper that I just recently purchased. I want to put a camera on the rear of it. So the distance from back to the interior of the truck is going to be somewhere around 50ft. What do I need to purchase that will work correctly?
    • Unfortunately the manufacturer of this backup camera only suggests a maximum of 30ft. A distance greater than 30 feet may restrict the quality or performance of the product. We apologize, but we do not have any suggestions for your situation since this is the only wireless backup camera we carry. If you have further questions just contact tech support.

  • I need to see the quality of the picture on the monitor .
    • We have no real way to demo the picture for the monitor, but the picture is clear and our customers have been pleased with the quality of the screen.

  • I am interested in purchacing a back up camera for my SUV. Are the SW-8250 and the SW-4876 the same products except for the size of the monitor? Can I purchace parts for these products? (if the camera should get damaged can I purchace it seprate?). Can the on/off switch on the monitor stay on if its hard wired to a fuse that is only hot with the key on?
    • Yes, the two systems are the same other than the screen size. We only carry the full systems, however if you need parts in the future, you can try contacting VR3 directly to see if they offer individual parts like a replacement camera. The monitor can be turned on manually (as long as it has power) or can be turned on automatically when the camera is enabled, for instance when the car is in reverse.

  • Both camera and monitor need power cables wired to operate. Are the power cables included or are the sold seperately?
