Pros: Good quality, Great price, Resolution up to 640x480 and 320x240 to lower bandwith. I operate 5 web cams using 3 different a/d converters. This Sewell unit is the best. Vista compatible some others are not. I use 3 of this units on the same Windows Encoder 9 software and it allows this by renaming the unit to 2820 2820(1) 2820(2) Couldn't ask for a better unit.

Pros: Excellent hardware. Works as advertised.

Cons: The software driver installation CD expects Service Pack II but errors out if you have Service Pack III. The CD needs to be updated. I had to search the web to obtain the updated drivers for the adapter. Not a major issue but was unexpected. To display in a mobile environment requires the use of the video publishing software.

Other Comments: It would be useful to have a simple (freeware) video display program that displays the video to the mobile PC.

Other Comments: this is a great device i have a sony evi d30 servalance camera that doubles as a webcam and i was trying to find the right adapter for it everywhere i bought several different ones and none of them working and everyone was telling me that the cord i was looking for didnt exist even the geeksquad at bestbuy and people at radioshack and many other electronic stores and finaly i decided to just do the reseach myself and there it was the exact cord i had been looking for thank you sewell direct...
