USB Video Capture Adapter Reviews - VC-211V

Pros: Good quality, Great price, Resolution up to 640x480 and 320x240 to lower bandwith. I operate 5 web cams using 3 different a/d converters. This Sewell unit is the best. Vista compatible some others are not. I use 3 of this units on the same Windows Encoder 9 software and it allows this by renaming the unit to 2820 2820(1) 2820(2) Couldn't ask for a better unit.

Pros: I am very happy with the 'out of box' video capture adapter...saved me a lot of money.

Cons: I didn't know that it wouldn't come with the software, but was able to find and download it from your websit.

Pros: Works like a champ once you get it hooked up properly and set up the software interface.

Cons: User guide was of zero value. Tried everything to get sound until by chance we plugged the small black lead into the microphone port on the computer. Voila! Had trouble with the Ulead software provided with the hardware. Tried Pinnacle 11 instead and was capturing video immediately.

Other Comments: Once we got a successful capture every other capture we did was easy and trouble free. I now keep my DVD Video/VCR Combo permanently attached to my desktop.

Other Comments: this is a great device i have a sony evi d30 servalance camera that doubles as a webcam and i was trying to find the right adapter for it everywhere i bought several different ones and none of them working and everyone was telling me that the cord i was looking for didnt exist even the geeksquad at bestbuy and people at radioshack and many other electronic stores and finaly i decided to just do the reseach myself and there it was the exact cord i had been looking for thank you sewell direct...

Other Comments: Ordered this device Monday and got it Thursday!!! First, what is pictured is not what I received, there is no "round black button", but the Sewell Number and MFR Number match the item description. (I did get an open box, which may have been the reason) It took me an entire 5 minutes to read instructions and installed device. I basically needed this so I could use cameras and camcorders as a webcam and be recognized by the software in use, and it does this 100%. (Side note, I downloaded the Drivers instead of using the CD.) I am pretty tickled about this... I will install remaining editing software and try to copy some old HI-8 tapes and see what happens... 100% Happy with Service and Device!!!
