Pros: I wanted to connect my HP1100 to my new Dell 530. This combo cable set worked perfectly. I just followed the manufacture's directions from their website, restarted my computer and I was up and running in just a couple of minutes.

Cons: I agree the connector doesn't snap in - it is just barely attached.

Pros: Perfect connection from my old HP 1100A Laser Jet printer to my new Windows Vista powered laptop. Definitely recommended.

Cons: The adapter does not snap in to the printer, so it could come loose. Hasn't happened to me, though.

Other Comments: Fast shipping.

Pros: Worked perfect. Windows recognized the HP 1100 and it prints perfect.

Cons: If the HP/Centronics was at a right angle, it would be perfect. No real problem though.

Other Comments: Perfect solution to keep a great printer working.

Pros: Works as intended. Can print normally.

Cons: Setting up was tricky - the setup instructions were non-existant.

Other Comments: I called tech support and got very friendly and fast service. It solved the install issue. You have to plug in the USB cable to the computer first. Once the computer recognizes it then plug it into your printer and proceed from there.
