USB Midi Interface Cable, 6 ft Questions - USB-Midi

• If I have a keyboard that only has USB and my other keyboards do not have USB but have MIDI can I use this to interface the USB keyboard to the MIDI keyboards or modules?
  • This unit is built to allow you to connect midi based devices to a computer through the USB port. This unit is not designed to connect peripherals in any other configuration. It will only work when the USB portion of the cable connected directly to the computer.

• I'm a novice at this and this may be a stupid questions, but will this cable work with any software and any keyboard? I have an old Yamaha PSR type keyboard that does have a midi port in it.Thanks!
  • This is designed as a generic add on and should work with any MIDI keyboard and software. There may be a few incompatible devices, but in general it should work with just about anything.
