Pros: Once you figure out how to connect and get the thing running, it captures videos pretty good.

Cons: The video editing software sent with the product is outdated. When I went to the manufacturer's site for upgrade, I was informed that the version I had was no longer supported. Plus for indepth user information on the software, I had to access youtube for help in setting it up properly. The software will capture with no problem, but converting files is ponderous and time consuming. I am running XP on a Quad machine, so it is the software that is slow. Updated software would probably correct this problem, but the manufacturer requires minimum $50 for upgrade.

Pros: I think the unit is made very well, but in my case it didn't work the way it was intended.

Cons: I found that the software it came with seems to be out- dated and the instructions were not easy to understand.

Other Comments: I have a Sharp Viewcam that i wanted to use with the RCA jacks it came with, hoping to connect it to my pc to upload videos onto YouTube, but when trying to use it all i got was black and white lines and no picture from what the camera was to be shooting. This was on a page that looked like Windows Movie Maker when downloading the softwear.
