• If there is a window open on one of the 3 monitors and I maximize it, does the result appear across all 3 monitors, or does it expand to fill only its current monitor?
  • Because the "Matrox TripleHead2Go" is running off of one video port on your computer, it will stretch to all three screens if you maximize the window.

• I am planning to use 3 19" moniters with 1440x900 resolution I did not see that listed in th specs. Will this work ?
  • Three 1440 x 900 resolutions are unfortunately not currently supported. Besides the standard resolutions listed in the specifications there is a software tool available that will enable two displays at 1280 x 1024 or 1680 x 1050, and three displays at 1280 x 720 or 1280 x 768.

• Does the Triple head 2 go work with different resolution monitors? What does the software do and is it required for it to work? If there are drivers, do you make linux drivers? Also does it support direct rendering and 3d acceleration on all monitors even if the GPU doesnt with that many monitors.
  • The basic settings for the TripleHead2Go will run all three screens at the same resolution. You will need to install the software drivers in order for the device to work. We currently do not offer Linux support. This will maintain any limitations as your current video card, so it would not enable exta features like hardware accelleration etc.
