The Top Global MB6800 Cellular Wi-Fi router is a jack of all trades. You get many great features in this light and compact device. This router makes it easy to share your high-speed PCMCIA or USB modem card with computers in your home, office, or workplace.
Connectivity
The MB6800 makes it easy for you to connect the router to an existing network. You can connect up to four devices using the onboard RJ-45 LA ports or you can connect more computers using the wireless 802.11g network. It has a WAN port to connect the router to an existing network. This allows you to use the Cellular network as a backup.
Compatibility
This router is compatible with more cards than the 3G Phoebus Portable Cellular Wi-Fi Router right out of the box. The firmware is upgradeable to accept future cards. You can connect either PCMCIA cards or USB dongle cellular cards. This gives you different options for your router.
Security
You get great security features to protect you from unwanted clients. You can filter MAC addresses to allow only approved computers onto the network. There is also the standard WPA and WEP encryption for increased security. Management is easy using the web-based client and lets you change the settings on your router easily. The User Guide CD and quick reference sheet let you easily set up the router and set the preferences.
