This easy to install
coaxial cable F-connector is an excellent solution to cutting and terminating your own coaxial cable lines. This kind of connection is what is used on standard antenna TV cables and modem cables.
This little modular jack uses a standard crimp tool to attach to any coaxial cable. First you strip the cable inner conductor, dialectric braid, and the jacket with a strip tool. Fold the braid layer over the outer jacket, insert it into this F-connector jack, and using a crimp tool, attach the cable to the plug.

Sometimes a "do it yourself" job really can save you quite a bit of money and time. Coaxial cables can come in extremely long spools and you may need a much shorter length. Now you can cut and crimp only what you need.
