I will be running this wire to surround speakers on the wall. When I get to the surround speaker, can I just connect the bare wire to the speaker. My speakers are made by Klipsch and have a hole where bare wire can go into it, then get tightened down.
- You could connect the wire directly to your speakers. It is recommended, however, that you run the Taperwire cable into Taperwire Terminal Block Connectors and then into a short length of normal speaker wire. This will help ensure that you get a good connection between your wire and your speakers.
