Display 32 different sources on up to 16 separate displays with audio. This switch offers a 1000 ft range to get the video and audio where you need it.
Video and audio range is expanded with the use of inexpensive cat 5. High quality A/V is maintained with resolutions up to 1600 x 1200 @85Hz. The Smartnet-X balances sound and video before transmission to ensure good quality. By using twisted pair (UTP or STP) noise is canceled out leaving a clean crisp signal. The A/V is converted back into a usable A/V signal with one of several different types of receiver (not included).

Receivers come complete with RS232 and IR ports for control and selection of source. This allows the user to fully interact with the attached selected source. A third party IR handset can be used to control A/V devices from 1000 ft. The Smartnet can also use central control from a computer connected directly to the switch.
Centralized control is possible with the included Smart Control software. The software works in a very simple X, Y grid. With simple yet robust software the flow of information is easy to control.
This high level matrix is 2U rack mountable and has diverse applications. Information centers can use the advanced matrix for highly customizable video walls. With 32 inputs to choose from information centers can be made to display and share a large variety of information, all changeable on the fly. Extensive applications can be found in shopping centers, data centers, schools, airports, hotels etc.
The SmartNet-X consists of two parts. One casing houses 16 UXGA and Audio inputs and connects to the second part. The second part houses 16 RJ-45 (cat 5) ports for distribution. Adding several of these input units together 32 inputs can be achieved. Each unit is rack-mountable
Each unit has a sturdy metal housing and is known for its durability. The SmartNet-X has been picked up by the military for various deployments including on an aircraft carrier.
