What is the distance if I use (2) x CAT5E cables and will it work?
- For this product to properly send all of the video and display data through the extender you would have to use 2 runs of Cat6 cable (Cat6 STP is highly recommended for use with this extender). It is not recommended that you use Cat5e cable, as you may not get a high enough quality signal to preserve the image over the run of cable. It will not fully function if you only run 1 cable. By running both runs of cable you can extend the HDMI signal up to 330 Feet.
