HDMI Splitting
An HDMI splitter takes the audio/video from one source (such as a Blu-ray player, DVR, computer, set-top box, etc) and mirrors the audio and video onto multiple displays. This is different from a switch which (essentially the opposite) takes multiple audio/video sources and allows you to select which source to play on a single HDTV (or projector, monitor, etc).
